In the twilight of their years, they roam,
Online, in a world far from home.
With joyful hearts, they seek to share,
But dangers lurk—beware, beware!
A whisper here, a click over there,
Promises glitter, tempting their care.
“Here’s a deal,” the scammers croon,
Casting their nets beneath a bright moon.
Emails shine with alluring lies,
Crafted schemes in a cunning disguise.
“Urgent action” rings in their ears,
Fueling hope entwined with fears.
Their trust is a treasure, easily sold,
By stories of fortune, deceitfully bold.
The lure of love, the claim of a win,
Wraps them in worry, pulling them in.
Once sharp minds, now laid bare,
Caught in a web—a digital snare.
With every link, more shadows cast,
Each trust misplaced, a die is cast.
So let’s arm the elders, share what we know,
Teach them to question, to challenge the show.
For safety in numbers, united we stand,
Guarding the wisdom of each gentle hand.
In the vastness of web, let compassion be our guide,
To shield those in twilight, standing side by side.
For in this battle against the deceitful tide,
We rise as protectors, with love as our pride.
